Beginning Watercolor Classes

Beginning Watercolor Classes are now ongoing. Every Thursday, 12:15-2:45pm, Lake Forest Lodge- Lower Level Rec Room. $95 for 6 weeks. Due to busy summer schedules, these 6 classes can be completed over an 8 week period. Every class includes demonstration, drawing, theory and student painting w/ individual instruction. Please email me to sign up and I will send you a supply list for the class!
Kentucky Watercolor Society Gallery

I will be hosting the KWS Gallery (at Mellwood Arts and Entertainment Center) on the following dates: Apr 18, Apr 30th between 11:30-4:30pm, and on May 9th starting at 5:30pm for the Trolley Hop night. I usually set up my easel and paint while there, so if you have any interest in seeing how watercolors are done, come visit me! New paintings were added to the Gallery in March. New to my gallery display is "Number 8 in the 5th" (20 1/2 x 27 1/2"), "Amaryllis Still Life" (22x17"), 'The Meeting-Lemons" (11x15") and "The Meeting-Pears" (11x15"). I also have some small 8x10 paintings "Night Time" and "Twin Spires". Come take a look at our "Spring Garden" themed display! (Frankfort Avenue Trolley Hop is the last Friday of every month. It is a fun event starting at 6pm. Mellwood Arts Center has lots of free parking and they usually have entertainment, cash bar, etc!)

Clara at the Trio Salon on Moser Rd has three new paintings hanging on her walls: "Avile" (12x15" -framed to 16x20"), "Nacoochee Wild Flowers" (11x14" -framed to 12x16"), and "Gourd Vase and Grape Jelly" (10x8" framed to 14x11").
